PART ONE/

Read the text then do the following activities

Sami has applied for a job in several firms . Recently , he has received replies from some of them.Therefore, he wants to make up his mind for choosing the suitable job with the help of his family.

Sami asked each member of his family to give him an opinion on the jobs he has been offered.His father suggested Sonatrach ,as the pay is very good and the conditions of work also.His mother opposed that, and said that work in the sahara is very difficult and the weather is very hot in addition to the fact that it will not be possible to see Santi frequently .Rayan, who is Sami’s brother, proposed office work.He said that it is not tiring, just staying on a chair having little work to do .Sami disagreed saying that it is a job of routine and boredom.On her turn Sonia, his sister, thought about teaching as an easy job with long holidays.Sami replied that he couldn’t do that job as he doesn’t like children and their noise.

At the end the family decided to let Sami decide by his own and advised him to take his time to select the job that he likes.
